You can book me to host gardening workshops for your event, whether in person in the North West or virtually. All options include Q&A opportunities and practical activities. All workshops are suitable for beginners, and all materials will be provided.
My workshops are suitable for schools, community groups, businesses and more - I can tailor for all ages and abilities. Here are just a few of the kind of workshops I can offer. If you have a different idea please let me know.
Well being and mental health session
Unplug your worries and relax with some plant related music and activities. These sessions can be indoor or outdoor. With kind and gentle guidance, we will work with a selection of plants to add to containers, baskets and flowerbeds. Rebuild confidence and self-esteem and learn new knowledge and skills in a fun, safe space.
Family friendly Activities
I can offer a range of fun family activities focusing on nature and having a good time. For example, making wildlife retreats, and looking at bugs as our friends normalising insects. Plant singalong fun and silly, dancing to the crazy plant song. True or false with bizarre and wonderful plants. Or having fun with upcycled containers, almost anything can be a container. I’ve used old bikes, fridge drawers, wellington boots, a toilet, a sink, milk cartons, a sieve, an old BBQ, and who knows what else? These activities are limitless!
Seasonal displays
For example, eco friendly Christmas wreaths from natural living materials.
Flowers for bouquets
A lot of the cut flowers we buy in bunches are not sustainable. They are grown in artificial conditions and have been imported over hundreds of miles.
Luckily, there is a range of plants which can be grown specifically to use in each season. This workshop will discuss them and create simple beautiful floral displays for you to use, keep or gift for a special someone.
Growing from Seed
We can easily grow many flowers from seed, such as sunflowers. In this workshop will be pot up seeds for you to take home, showing how it’s not only cheaper and satisfying, it also provides something to the world.

Workshop Terms
Workshops require an agreed deposit paid in advance of the sessions.
Cancellations within 3 working days of a session date are charged as a total rate for the session plus materials. Thanks so much for your understanding.
